Elephants in China get drunk in corn field Posted by Anita Froneman on 19 March 2020 Even the animal kingdom likes to paint the town red from time to time. In a time of self-isolation, quarantines and social distancing, a herd of Asian elephants in China paid a corn field in the Yunan province a visit. Apparently, they came across some ready-made corn wine and had a roaring time after which they fell asleep in a drunken slumber. A Facebook page called ‘Epicalyptic’ posted this comical sight on their page: We hope they weren’t too much worse for wear the next day!
