The 800m-long Paris attraction, known as the Smash Perrier, was first opened in 2017 to celebrate the French Open international tennis tournament. This year it once again open and operate from 5-11 June during the French Open (21 May-9 June), in celebration of the event and of the 130th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower’s existence. Potential riders will not be able to buy tickets for the ride, but will need to apply on the Perrier Instagram page. Random draws will take place between 29 May and 2 June and the winners will be able to experience what Director of Communication at Perrier, Francoise Bresson, describes as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience’. The Eiffel Tower, the world’s most visited monument, was first opened in 1889 and includes attractions such as the lift ride to the top, two restaurants and a glass-bottomed lookout deck.
