Dispute over giraffe being euthanised after attack in KZN Posted on 22 October 2022 Initial reports about the giraffe involved in the death of a child being euthanised, are being disputed. READ: Child dead after giraffe attack in KwaZulu-Natal Getaway initially quoted a report that stated the fact, however the Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation said this is not true. ‘We have since been informed by the reserve that the Giraffe in question was not euthanized. We will update if more information comes forward,’ the organisation said. Getaway is awaiting a response from Kuleni Game Park.
