Cemair launches direct flights from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Posted by Taylah Strauss on 25 October 2021 Tintswalo Safari Lodge and Cemair have joined forces to offer direct flights from Cape Town to Hoedspruit, with a 45-minute road transfer to the lodge, meaning Capetonians are now able to reach the heart of the Greater Kruger National Park in less than three and a half hours. Sharing an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, the pristine private Manyeleti Game Reserve is home to Tintswalo Safari Lodge, recently named one of the Top 20 Resorts in South Africa in the 2021 Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards. Located on a riverbank overlooking the wilderness, it offers a ’safari with soul’, complete with uninterrupted, heart-stopping Big 5 game viewing experiences. A landmark of luxury accommodation and service, Tintswalo Safari Lodge is known for its warm hospitality. Guests are accommodated in six luxuriously appointed Explorer Suites themed after 19th century explorers. Each air-conditioned suite boasts a private deck with plunge pool, four-poster King bed, and an opulently finished bathroom. From Cape Town, a three-night fly-in safari costs R18 999 per adult sharing an Explorer suite and R11 899 per child aged 6 to 15 years, while the rate from Johannesburg for the 3-night safari is R17 499 per adult sharing and R10 299 per child aged 6 to 15 years. The same fly-in safari packages are also available from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport with non-stop flights to Hoedspruit in under an hour. Families or groups of friends travelling together may also book the Manor House at Tintswalo Safari Lodge. Based on the private villa concept, it offers exclusivity with 5 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, and includes the services of a private chef, guide and game viewing vehicle on an exclusive-use basis as the ultimate getaway for up to 10 people. From Cape Town, the three-night fly-in safari with exclusive-use of the Manor House costs R15 999 per person sharing and R14 499 ex-Johannesburg (valid for group reservations of between 6 and 10 people). The special offer is available for sale until 2 November 2021, for travel up to 30 November 2021. Rates include non-stop return flights, return road transfers between Hoedspruit and Tintswalo Safari Lodge, 3 nights in 5-star luxury accommodation with all meals and two game drives per day, as well as Wi-Fi.
