British Airways increase Joburg-London route to twice a week Posted by David Henning on 5 August 2021 British Airways recently announced that passenger flights between Johannesburg and London Heathrow will increase to two flights a week from the week of August 16 2021, Travel News reports. Flights will depart Johannesburg’s OR Tambo for London on Wednesdays and Sundays at 21:15, arriving at London-Heathrow the following morning at 07:20. Flights from London to Johannesburg on Thursdays and Saturdays, departing at 21:25 and arriving in Johannesburg at 09:15 the following mornings. This bi-weekly flight schedule will operate until 30 August, thereafter British Airways will commence daily services between Johannesburg and London until September 27.
