Argentina to reopen its borders in November Posted by David Henning on 1 October 2021 With spring approaching, Argentina is opening their international borders to foreign travellers, allowing fully vaccinated countries to visit the South American nation from November 1. After a stringent lockdown for more than a year, Argentina is taking the first step towards opening up its borders, following in the steps of its neighbouring countries Chile and Uraguay. From 1 November 2021, all vaccinate foreign visitors are welcomed and exempt from quarantine. Travellers must still present proof of a negative Covid-19 test not older than 72 hours before departure, in addition to taking an antigen test seven days after arrival. Argentina’s health ministry currently recognizes the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield, Sputnik, Sinopharm and Convidecia jabs. Those who aren’t fully vaccinated are also required to take two tests and undergo a two-week quarantine.
