For those who want to experience South Africa’s beautiful cultural diversity first hand, enjoy the spirit of ubuntu and feast on African Cuisine in luxury accommodation, The Spade Boutique Hotel and Spa is the place to go. This 4-star hotel in Khayelitsha is the first luxury hotel in a township in Cape Town, and will open its doors on 5 December.

This exciting new venture is owned by former flight attendant Annette Skaap, who together with her husband decided to open a business right in the heart of the city she comes from.

Fitted with 13 suites, elegantly decorated interiors with modern features and a sophisticated look and feel, the boutique-style hotel features en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, unlimited WIFI and more creature comforts. Guests have the added advantage of enjoying room service, an in-house gym, spa, a heated outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar, and business services facilities as well as complimentary shuttle services.

Khayelitsha is known for its rich, diverse culture, friendly people, lifestyle and entertainment hotspots and entrepreneurial spirit. The Spade Boutique Hotel and Spa is affiliated with Cape Town Tourism, the Federated Hospitality Association of Southern Africa (FEDHASA) and is currently in the processing of grading with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) and South African Tourism (SAT).

The website is still a work in progress, but check it out for more information from December. www.thespadeboutiquehotel.co.za
