Romantic weekend ideas in Durban

Posted on 4 February 2011

If you and your loved one find yourselves at a loss for what to do on Valentine’s Day in Durban and don’t fancy cramming into a red, loved-up restaurant alongside hundreds of other couples, then here are some ideas that are a tad more adventurous.

While dinner is always great, add some flavour to the evening by packing a picnic basket and blanket and setting yourselves down in a grassy area with some live background music for good measure.  Guys show your ladies that you love her enough to enjoy a spa treatment beside her , even if it means having your back exfoliated or temples massaged with oils.

Go for a walk in a beautiful area, take her to the theatre or if you want to really to really escape, go to a place where your cell phone doesn’t work and there are more wild animals than people.

In Durban many opportunties abound to get creative. Here are some ideas to make your Valentine’s day a spectacular one.
