Sleep under the stars of the Manyeleti at Tintswalo’s new Treehouse Posted by Taylah Strauss on 9 May 2022 With a new sleep-out experience, Tintswalo Safari Lodge has upped the ante to provide an unforgettable night beneath the stars in the aptly named Manyeleti, which means ‘place of stars’. Tucked under the crown of a weeping boer bean tree, the Tintswalo Treehouse is situated within the fenced Tintswalo Manor House borders in the Manyeleti Nature Reserve in Greater Kruger. Visitors can enjoy an authentic “armchair” safari experience from the comfort of the lounge deck during the day, with an aerial view of a waterhole. As the sun’s orange hues gradually fade, the starry night sky takes over. The bush comes to life when the sun goes down, as nocturnal animals come out and begin their nightly patrols. Under this entirely different atmosphere, conversations go on late into the night and nightcaps flow freely. On a king-size bed with the finest linen and protective netting, guests can drift into the land of nod after a long day. Bathroom facilities are easily accessible. The Tintswalo Treehouse experience ticks all the boxes and it’s just R2500 per person.
