Enjoy a summer picnic and live music at Spier

Summer is the season to enjoy live music and Spier’s fresh farm air with a beautiful picnic. You won’t want to miss an evening of chilled-out, laid-back sounds while the sun sets over Spier Werf.

Mapumba Cilombo is bringing the tunes to entertain you. The multi-skilled musician hails from Congo, and has spent time in Zambia, before arriving in South Africa. Inspired by folk melodies and Afropop, Mapumba’s international sound is the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening.

While you’re enjoying the music, there will be award-winning wine and plenty of delicious food available. Here’s what’s on the menu:

  • Sip, sample, and savour our many wine options at the Wine Tasting station
  • Enjoy our pre-booked Spier Summer Picnic or create your own al fresco feast with goodies from the Farm Café
  • Grab a pizza from Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery.
  • Visit Bubbles & Braai for a Farmer Angus burger fresh off the fire.
