Travel from Kamberg to Pemba Posted on 10 February 2009 Tags:Mozambique One would assume that we’d have been very unenthusiastic about traveling today but I’m happy to say that it didn’t even cross our minds. I was still thinking of the long, hard hike up to the cave and how fantastic it was to have spent the night there, in the open with nothing but rock under our backs, leopards and baboons possibly at an arms length away at all times and the only thing keeping them from venturing into our cave was the fire that burned continually throughout the night. Anyway, we were much too busy packing the vehicles and getting ourselves ready for the long trek back into the city. One more night and we’ll be boarding a plane to Pemba and the virtually unexplored Quirimba islands. Ah, the anticipation. Mozambique, here we come.
