Day 10: I’m making hot chocolate! – Life 2 the Limit blog Posted on 13 April 2010 We have successfully moved beaches and our new location seems a good choice. Everyone took some time to settle into our new home. I must still string up my hammock but it’s a task I’m satisfied to leave for later. One particular benefit of this beach is a lovely cool, clear river of sweet water, infinitely superior to our previous source. So after a dip in the refreshing stream, I waded to the nearby waterfall and sat for some time just contemplating: the river of time that runs through our lives, karma and the question of reincarnation, how meaninglessly small it can seem that we are, and yet how awesome (in the sense of large rather than necessarily good) it is to be human – thanks to the incredible opportunity of self-consciousness. I am glad for it. As a special treat tonight I’m making hot chocolate for the team. They don’t know yet, but I think we will all enjoy it!
