Two Toyota Fortuners are up for grabs and there are two ways to win them: Enter as a challenger or back your hero from the comfort of your own home. Come out on top and a brand new Fortuner, amongst other amazing prizes from Garmin, Specialized, and Salomon, could be yours. Got what it takes to compete? Highbury Media is on the hunt for a worthy contestant to represent us as our challenger. One deserving semi-finalist will be selected from each of the following titles: Getaway magazine, Leisure Wheels magazine, or SA Rugby magazine. A single representative will then be chosen from the three semi-finalists to compete in this years 4×4 challenge. Our challenger will be teamed up with one of four South African sports heroes: green and gold rugby star, Oupa Mehoje, rally driver legend, Giniel de Villiers, Olympian rower, Kristen MacCann, and unstoppable choreographer, Nkateko “Takkies” Dinwiddy. Entrant and hero will compete in the Fortuner Challenge as a pair against the three other teams at the Pezula Resort in Knysna. Over the course of two days, you’ll take on a series of gruelling obstacles that require both physical and mental stamina. Last year, competitors were pushed to their limits as they cycled, swam, and paddled their way to the finish line. A night navigation run and strength test, requiring contestants to pull the dead weight of a Fortuner up a gradient were also thrown into the mix. Be prepared for an epic battle. 2018 Toyota Fortuner Challenge Finals.
