The swing at the end of the world, Baños, Equador A post shared by Sharla Sugierski (@sharlasugierski) on Apr 9, 2018 at 3:06pm PDT Known as ‘the swing at the end of the world,’ this perch hangs from a tree 2600m above sea level, at Casa del Arbol, outside of the town of Baños, Equador. There’s also a zip line and a few other swings within the small park of Casa del Arbol. This swing hangs from a tree that also holds a tree house, which is a seismic monitoring station for the nearby active volcano of Mt. Tungurahua. Jenny Y (from Florida Beach, Miami) posted the following description on Trip Advisor on 8 June 2018, “This is a must do in Baños. There are buses that can take you up there or you can take a 15 minute cab drive from town. The entrance is only $1 for the amazing experience to swing from a tree house off the cliff. The view is incredible and if the sky is clear, you may even see the volcano.” 2. To get there, you must either come over the mountain or arrive by sea”. 3. According to Phil T’s review on Trip Advisor, “We visited smack in the middle of the Khmer new year so was very overcrowded! Still an absolutely stunning experience! If you are looking for activities around Siem Reap, spend a day here.” 6. It’s here that you’ll find Hotel Ombak’s Datu Swing, which became rather famous after MTV Australia published a story on the best scenic activities on Bali and Gili in 2015, entitled 7 Activities to do in Bali with an epic backdrop. 7.
