Google Maps updated Posted on 11 October 2013 Google Maps is updating their service to include directions for multiple destinations. It may sound pretty straight forward but the update is a big and useful one because you can see an entire itinerary in one place (including distances and travel duration to help budget) and you can manage your reservations and discover upcoming events. Plan your next road trip with directions for multiple destinations Plot multiple destinations for your trip with ease, whether you’re driving, walking and biking directions. Once you’ve chosen a starting point, click ‘+’ and add stops to your route by typing in the search box or clicking on the map. You can also use it to find the best way to museums, historic squares and other attractions by dragging and dropping your destinations in the order that works for you. Re-order your route by dragging and dropping one destination above or below another It’s only available in the US but we should see it gear-categories Africa pretty soon.
