You can now rent power banks on the go Posted by David Henning on 6 September 2022 Adoozy is South Africa’s first power bank rental network that lets you charge your phone on the go so you never have to worry about that ‘low battery’ notification when you are out and about. The network is operational in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, with plans to expand even further. All you need to do is download the Adoozy app, register to become a customer and find your nearest Power Tower. then, the power bank can be returned – within 48hrs – to any Power Tower located within the country. Adoozy has partnered with IDEMIA, and each Adoozy Power Tower features IDEMIA’s MorphoWave™ Compact. This technology scans up to four fingerprints in a contactless manner with the wave of a hand. A first mover, Adoozy is the first solution where biometrics are used to access products however the trend of leveraging contactless biometrics for security and greater access and consumer convenience is set to grow.
