Tested: new Casio camera Posted on 25 July 2013 The Casio high-speed EX-ZR700 is small, nifty and takes beautiful snaps too. The Casio high-speed EX-ZR700 is a 16,1 megapixel point and shoot camera that delivers clear pictures and runs smoothly. It takes a while to get the knack of the menu options and you need to fiddle around to make the most of it. The Casio also starts up quickly so there’s no delay in getting the unique shots you want. It’s got an incredible zoom function – up to 18x that doesn’t compromise clarity and the pictures are without shakes or blur, which is pretty impressive. The company states that the star feature is its new EXILIM HS 3 engine, which eliminates delays, blurring and shaking enabling non-professionals to get quality shots. I have to say, it really works. What happens is, when you press the shutter button it actually takes three pictures instead of one and combines them into a clear and beautiful image. The camera is lightweight and easy to use. I was quite sad to see the demo model go.
