The ingredients needed to make your own ice brick Soak a sponge in water, place into a Ziplock bag letting out all the air before closing and freeze overnight. The next morning you’ll have the perfect ice brick. The plastic bag prevents water wetting your foodstuffs and its re-usable. This is a cheap alternative to buying plastic ice-bricks and great for an emergency.
