Meet LuminAID the inflatable light bag Posted on 5 September 2013 A portable solar light in a blow-up bag? Yes please. This solar light is inflatable - but don't rely on it as a safety flotation device! LuminAID is an inflatable solar light designed for ease of use and packs away into a small size. It was initially designed with victims of natural disasters in mind and works as an alternative to gas lanterns, torches, burning sticks, the sun and other less convenient light sources. It’s small enough to fit your jacket pocket and clips onto your backpack if your batteries die. The LuminAID folds away into a small package Featuring an integrated solar panel and dual settings the LuminAID lights up for 8-10 hours on high – more than enough time to set up camp and gobble up good braai kos – and lasts for 14-16 hours on low setting. The LuminAID is great for camping Product Features Three light settings (OFF, HIGH and LOW) 14-16 hours of 15 lumens on LOW for safety, night light 8-10 hours of 30 lumens on HIGH for reading, task work Waterproof up to 1 meter deep (FL 1 STANDARD IPX-7) Semi-transparent, puncture resistant TPU material (non-pvc and phthalate free) Low discharge rate battery Watch the video to see the LuminAID in action Costs R455 Yuppie Gadgets Related Posts Trialed and tested: our top camping chairs 3 August 2022 Nothing ruins sundowners or fireside chats like the lack of a camping chair.
