Pop open a warm beer and mix it into the premix, then place in the bread pot and cover evenly with coals. Leave the bread to bake for about an hour and marvel at your chef skills. The pot is hardy, has a gutter on the lid to prevent coals falling off and yields a good family-sized loaf. It might be a little heavy to pack, but it’s worth it when you sit down to eat hot fresh bread. Pack garlic and herbs with the premix to spice up your bread a little.
