Crocs release range of winter boots Posted on 15 April 2013 Although we haven’t managed to get our hands on them, Crocs‘ new range of winter boots made with their trademark Croslite technology look pretty good. The shoes have come a long way from the initial can’t-be-missed Croc sandals that broke across South African shores a couple of years ago and the range has widened to include a large variety of footwear. For winter 2013, the range even includes a lightweight hiking boot. The Crocs converse-esque sneakers also featured in the January 2013 Readers’ Issue of Getaway Magazine. Our editor Cameron Ewart-Smtih wrote I’ve come to love my Crocs for travelling: they’re light, they don’t smell, you can wash them in a machine and they’re extremely comfortable. Oh, and did I say they were light? You can wear them smart (people simply assume you’re a rock star), you can wear them casual, you can wear them with shorts or jeans and at a push you could even do a fair day hike in them. They’re widely available and will work for women too.
