For many who will be hosting over the weekend but are uninspired to cook, below are a variety of restaurants to order from to wow guests with minimal effort. Isizwe Chill Spot Located in the suburbs north of Johannesburg, Isizwe Chill Spot serves African cuisine to satisfy any shisa nyama craving. The menu comprises Mopani worms, Mogodu, Chicken feet, and braai meat. At this joint, food prices range from R70 to R180 for meals such as Oxtail. Meat items come with a side of either aka or morogo. Hao Ke Lai Chinese Restaurant Located in Randburg, the restaurant is perfect for Asian cuisine lovers as it offers a variety of favourites, including sushi, dumplings, spring rolls, chow mein and crispy beef. Prices at the restaurant are fairly reasonable, starting from R31 for soups and Spring rolls, while the meals with meat cost around R93 and up to R 114 for meals such as Duck sweet and sour. Papoulis Place An authentic Italian wood-oven Pizza & Pasta, Papoulis, located in Sandton, offers all the famous Italian favourites that make meal sharing all the more worth it. Customers can expect to spend as little as R103 for a large pizza, R130 for pasta dishes and around R140 for Risottos. Taste of India Bryanston Taste of India offers a variety of meals made from exotic ingredients and tongue-tingling flavours, which offer a truly exquisite Indian experience. Customers in the North of Johannesburg are spoilt for choice with food ranging from Bunny Chow & Roti Roll, Biryani an Jollof Cafe Bryanston The well-known African restaurant prides itself on its selection of African cuisine, which consists of bestsellers such as Goat Meat, Jambalaya Rice, Fried Yam, Ewa Agonyin, Mackerel Fish and much more exciting food that fills the room with a tantalising aroma! Jollof Cafe is available at various locations in Johannesburg North. In terms of pricing, customers can expect to pay anything from R70 for Jollof rice to R100 for Pepper Soup.
