The Earth Fair Market at St Georges Mall Posted on 20 July 2011 Tags:Cape Town In my endeavour to write about food, I wanted to learn as much as I could about it because I want to be a credible food writer. My journey started with Oded’s Kitchen, working as a part-time salesperson under the two masterminds – Oded and Lewis. As I gained confidence, they placed me at the Earth Fair Market, where I’d sell Oded’s Kitchen products – preserves, fresh food (lunch) and their famous Aztec chili hot chocolate. From having worked at three of the Earth Fair Markets at St Georges Mall so far, I have come to love the transparency and the kindness of the local traders. The Earth Fair Market at St Georges Mall offers those working or browsing in town, the opportunity to buy lunch (including a large variety of vegetarian food) and other food products from a wide selection of local food traders in Cape Town, while being surrounded by a stunning old school Victorian look and feel. It is open from 11h00 till 17h00 every Thursday on the St Georges Mall walkway (unless it’s raining of course – it would be inside Mandela Place). The Earth Fair Market at St Georges Mall is definitely worth stopping by for a wide variety of lunch options or even to stock up your kitchen supplies. Follow @earthfairmarket on Twitter and like Earth Fair Food Market on Facebook for instant updates and news.
