If you’re ever in an emergency situation, the first thing you’ll want to do is call for help and the last thing you’ll want is for your mobile phone to be dead. The Powerchimp is a nifty little unit which can charge most portable gadgets (including mobile phones, iPods, iPhones, MP3 players, PDAs and PSPs). It re-juices its own AA and AAA rechargeable batteries via a computer’s USB port. The Powerchimp will recharge most mobile phones at least once before needing its own recharge. It has an integrated LED torch and comes in a variety of colours.
