Local comedians Corne and Twakkie- they are not kak Posted on 9 December 2010 Tags:Cape Town Can you believe it? I do not believe it! Believe it, coz it’s true! The hilarious duo of Corne and Twakkie are back in action and have just finished a three week stint at the Baxter theatre in Cape Town. The Most Amazing Show LIVE involves a LOT of audience participation- so if you are wise, and not keen on being embarrassed don’t book a seat in the first 10 rows (we were in the 4th row right next to the aisle – big mistake). The show begins with a quirky typically bizarre dance that the two perform to get you in the mood. This is followed by a number of skits where audience members are asked to hold magical carpets of misdirection, act as horses and get up close and personal with the Lurv Captain, Corne in an incredibly porno outfit (this is pretty scary but hilarious at the same time!) The usual politicians are picked on and even Gareth Cliff and Steve Hofmeyer get a mention. I won’t spoil the rest for you, but watch out for performances coming to your city- you won’t regret it! Check out their Facebook page for more info and some hilarious videos.
