Day eight: In touch with nature = great! – blog from the Life 2 the Limit survival challenge Posted on 12 April 2010 It’s a rice day! Ha ha, it’s funny how it all revolves around food. We have had numerous discussions about food in the last few days. I find them excellent and not at all disturbing, sort of a retreat into a fantasy world of flavour. We intend to move beaches in a day or two, which I think will be a big morale boost, and the water is apparently a lot more palatable, which is also good news. The stars were quite beautiful tonight and I sat for some time watching two separate lightening storms crusading across the horizon. As I was lying in my hammock listening to the regular rhythm of the waves, I was reminded of one of my main motivations for coming here – to be in touch with nature = great!
