Picture: Brandon Bell / Getty Images ‘We are extremely excited to have signed with the world-renowned Marriott International group, which has a global footprint internationally in the hospitality sector. This lodge is a distinctive addition to Autograph Collection Hotels. It will be a unique destination for Marriott Bonvoy members and travellers from across the globe to visit,’ said Haroun Peer, Director of Tingana Hospitality Group. Tingana is a set of high-end lodges bordering the park. The property, presently being built, will be rebranded as an Autograph Collection hotel before opening its doors by 2025. Tingana Hospitality Group’s Director, Haroun Peer, stated that the lodge would be a unique destination for global travellers and Marriott Bonvoy members. The Kruger National Park hotel is predicted to feature 18 villas, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby bar and swimming pool, and other amenities. ‘Each hotel is a product of passion and a personal realization of its individual founder’s vision, making each hotel singular and special. Hand-selected for their inherent craft, Autograph Collection hotels offer rich, immersive moments that leave a lasting imprint,’ the Marriot said The hotel will be situated on the Sabie River at the Kruger Gate entrance. The company plans to emphasize social responsibility and empower the local community through its operations. Marriott International’s Autograph Collection currently has more than 270 hotels globally, with each hotel being a personal manifestation of its founder’s vision, offering memorable and unique immersive moments.
