The woman’s beach towel, dress, bag with personal belongings, and hat were found on the beach but did not contain any identifying information. Luke van Riet, NSRI Bakoven station commander said ‘While there remains no sign of the female, no persons have come forward reporting anyone missing that may be related to this case.’ On Sunday, NSRI teams conducted an extensive search but there were no new leads in the case. The incident has raised concerns among the locals, who are worried about the safety of the beachgoers. ‘It is very concerning that someone can go missing at a busy beach like Camps Bay. We urge people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately,’ said a local resident. The authorities have urged anyone with information about the missing woman to come forward. ‘We are appealing to the public to assist us in this matter. Any information, no matter how small, may assist us in finding the missing woman,’ said a police spokesperson. The search for the missing woman continues, and the authorities are working tirelessly to find her. They are also reminding beachgoers to be cautious and to always inform someone when going for a swim. Follow us on social media for more travel news, inspiration, and guides.
