De Grendel Wines open VIEWS restaurant atop Table Mountain Posted by Olerato Ramafsi on 28 November 2022 Situated on top of the majestic Table Mountain, VIEWS by De Grendel Wines launched on Thursday, 10 November 2022. VIEWS is one of the four restaurants that have recently launched as part of a brand-new food and beverage experience from Table Mountain Aerial Cableway. The launch of VIEWS follows the previous launches of Ten67, and TAP Bar, with KLOUD Bar, also schedule to be launched soon. The wine lounge, with top-speed Wi-Fi, a delicious menu, and a full-on wine-tasting experience on offer, allows guests the opportunity to experience the most unique panoramic views of the Mother City from its balconies. ‘We found that tourists are always in a rush, and they miss the magic when they summit the mountain as they’re always on their way back down to do a wine tasting somewhere,’ Said Ronald Ramsamy, the Food and Beverage Executive of the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company. ‘Therefore, the collaboration with De Grendel Wines was a natural fit. The De Grendel Cellar sits majestically on the fynbos-covered slopes with a picture-perfect view of Table Mountain. The location of VIEWS offers an amazing view of the vistas of De Grendel on a clear day. What better place to enjoy all these wonderful experiences than from the top of one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature sites.’ VIEWS by De Grendel Wines is the ideal spot to have a glass of wine, enjoy a much-needed lunch date with a friend away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD, or just use it as an office for a day. The opportunities are endless. ‘Table Mountain Aerial Cableway aims to inspire and enhance visitor experiences while also creating and enabling shared value experiences and offer all visitors world-class events and functions,’ says Ramsamy.
