Take on the Pafuri Pedal Power mountain bike challenge in November Posted by Olerato Ramafsi on 6 October 2022 The two-day Pafuri Pedal Power mountain bike challenge will be an adventure showcasing the spectacular beauty of Pafuri and Makuleke Contractual Park from 10-13 November 2022. The race runs through the Northern tip of the Greater Kruger region, a 26 000 hectare plot with pristine wilderness wedged between the Limpopo and Luvhuvu rivers. The area is filled with rich and diverse cultural history where herds of elephant and buffalo wander between towering riverine forests. Riders will have the opportunity to be part of a two-day tour that will be paving the way for a future multi-stage. The multi-stage will be reaching further areas, and cost more than the initial two-day challenge while exposing you to the traverse of the Greater Limpopo Trans-Frontier Conservation Area. The future event is planned to start in Pafuri, cross Limpopo into Zimbabwe, and travel up through the Sengwe Corridor to Gonarezhou National Park before returning to the starting point in Pafuri via Mozambique.
