Rocky Bay in KZN’s mountain bike and running trails restored after floods Posted by David Henning on 16 August 2022 As KwaZulu-Natal is on the road to recovery after devastating flooding, Rocky Bay Trails on the South Coast have reopened their running and mountain biking trails after reparations. ‘We’re very excited to welcome the hiking and biking fraternities back to Rocky Bay after extensive work was done to re-establish our wonderful trails,’ said Annien Koulountis, Resorts Manager at Rocky Bay Resorts. Rocky Bay consists of 9km, 12km, 19km and 40km MTB trails, as well as 4km, 6km, 8km and 10km signed Running Trails. The range of trails are for experienced and novice runners and riders alike. Only those with permits are allowed to use the trails, which are available at the entry gate for R30.
