First Group acquires two stunning resorts Posted by Taylah Strauss on 24 June 2022 Hotel management company First Group has added two stunning resorts in the Western and Eastern Cape to their portfolio – Brookes Hill Suites and Hermanus Beach Club. Hermanus Beach Club consists of self-catering units along the rocky Hermanus coastline. Each unit has a built-in braai, a private balcony with panoramic ocean views and a TV. This resort caters to all ages, offering swimming pools, mini-golf, a gym, pool tables and squash and tennis courts. It is also just a stone’s throw from several whale-watching spots, wineries with stellar tasting rooms, Grotto Beach and the Village Square. Brookes Hill Suites sits a mere 200m away from the waves of Algoa Bay. Just a minute’s walk away from the beach, the resort also has a pool if you want to dip your toes in the water without leaving your home away from home. Each self-catering unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a private balcony, Wi-Fi and a TV. This resort is near Splash Waterworld, Humewood golf course and Bayworld Museum. ‘Whether your idea of a vacation is to lie at the pool enjoying a cocktail whilst watching the world go by, visiting local tourist attractions and experiencing “local is lekka” or on the hunt for adventure, we’ve definitely got you covered,’ says Shaun Lamont, Managing Director of First Group.
