Bainskloof Pass reopens as roadworks are finally complete

Bainskloof Pass (R301) between Wellington and Ceres has been reopened following roadworks which started in 2018.

According to the Western Cape government, the road received a new coat of tar, and pavement renovations and improvements on the masonry.

There are still construction vehicles and workers finishing off the final touches but both lanes remain fully open for motorists.
