Johannesburg’s Night Embassy is back with music from the ‘underground’ Posted by Anita Froneman on 23 June 2022 The entertainment scene is roaring back to life in Johannesburg and creative hub Night Embassy is at the forefront. Through ongoing guidance, mentorship and production support towards the Ambassadors of the Night, this artsy space says they want to ‘reinforce our unwavering backing of sub-cultures and discover new ways to give a voice to the underground’. Kicking off this weekend is Kaofela Kaofela, a performance by artists from Kombonation at UncleTom’s in Orlando West Soweto. Tickets are free on www.night-embassy.com/jhb/. Entertainment includes music from the likes of Focalistic, Bonj, Deniece Marz, Mam Thug, Teedo Love and Kombonation themselves, as well as skate contests, their latest T-shirt drop and photography exhibitions.
