All visitors, however are still required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. New York. Picture: Unsplash According to the New York Times, the US Travel Association estimates that eliminating the testing requirement will bring an additional 5.4 million international visitors to the United States and $9 billion more in travel spending this year alone. South Africans travelling to the United States for tourism need a visitor visa (B-2) visa to enter.
