Leopard scuffles with porcupine near Satara Posted by Anita Froneman on 3 August 2021 Never a dull moment in the Kruger National Park! Mariette Landman recently came across a mischievous sub-adult leopard having a go at a porcupine near Satara. The leopard didn’t seem too aggressive, but rather curious and playful. It got a slight injury to the paw after meddling with the porcupine. After a few minutes of scuffling, the leopard called it quits and both animals went on their way. ‘After about 90 min, both walked away,’ Landman said. ‘What privilege to experience this.’ Take a look at the dramatic sighting: Pictures: Mariette Landman Related Posts Cape Town’s sustainability: Leading the way in environmental initiatives 1 June 2023 As National Environmental Month commences in South Africa, Cape Town stands proudly at the forefront... read more Kapama to host Safari Guide of the Year Awards 2023 1 June 2023 Kapama Private Game Reserve near Hoedspruit will host this year’s Safari Guide of the Year... read more Blood Lions relaunches for public viewing on YouTube 1 June 2023 Award-winning documentary feature film Blood Lions has been relaunched on YouTube for public viewing, creating... read more PREV ARTICLE NEXT ARTICLE
