Woman dies after fall in Tsitsikamma National Park Posted by Anita Froneman on 24 June 2021 A woman has died after a fall on a trail leading to the suspension bridge in Tsitsikamma National Park on Wednesday, 23 June. South African National Parks (SANParks) said in a statement it sends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the tourist, and will provide her husband, who was with her, with all the required support. It is believed the woman was between the ages of 50 and 60. The Park Rangers and National Sea Rescue Institute successfully retrieved her body. Once retrieved, the SAPS transported the body to Gqeberha for pathology. The details surrounding this fatal accident are being investigated. This is a developing story.
