Indulgent butterscotch velvet trifle recipe Posted on 16 July 2021 There’s nothing better than a toe-curling-sweet dessert after a hearty meal. We’ve got First Choice’s indulgent butterscotch velvet trifle recipe, and it’s easier than you think. All you need is their Butterscotch Velvet Dairy Dessert. The product is made from First Choice G-Free milk, which means it uses natural milk that has been commercially sterilised and is free from pathogens and micro-organisms that can develop during storage. First Choice Velvet has no added preservatives such as tartrazine and is a long-life product, which can be kept for that extra treat or unexpected visitors. The environmentally friendly carton is made from more than 80% plant-based raw materials and the whole pack is 100% recyclable. The new closures are partly made from plastics derived from plant-based material, which is a renewable resource that can be sustainably planted and harvested. First Choice’s delicious milk and dairy products are filled with the natural goodness of milk that is sourced mainly from pasture-fed cows. Butterscotch Velvet Trifle Ingredients: 1 litre First Choice Butterscotch Velvet, chilled and whipped 200g Boudoir biscuits 250ml strong coffee 250ml cream, whipped Chocolate malted balls, for garnishing Soft caramel toffees, for garnishing First Choice Caramel Dessert Topping, for drizzling Directions: Soak the biscuit in the coffee and layer the ingredients to your heart’s content. We layered it as follows: coffee drenched biscuits, whipped Velvet, some chopped caramels and malted balls. Repeat. Top it off with whipped cream and the rest of the caramels and chocolate malted balls, and drizzle generously with the First Choice Caramel Dessert Topping before digging in.
