Learn about birding in the Kruger National Park Posted on 23 June 2020 Latest Sightings is offering an online beginner’s course to birding within the Kruger National Park. Avian enthusiasts will have the opportunity to learn about 80 species of birds found within the park. From the incredible red-billed quelea flocks, to the rainbow-coloured wings of lilac-breasted rollers, the Kruger National Park is teeming with bird life. Look up for the acrobats of the sky, the bateleur eagle and listen out for the unmistakable call of the woodland kingfisher that seemingly follows your every move in the summertime. The new set of online courses is a new lockdown-inspired experience that will add value to your life forever,’ said Latest Sightings on their website. There are three courses on offer: A single course (R350), a couple’s course (R500) and a pensioner’s course (R300).
