Pictures of the Lyrids meteor shower 2020 Posted by Anita Froneman on 22 April 2020 It’s meteor season and this week, the Lyrids meteor shower is visible from Earth. Tuesday 21 April was its peak, and a few photographers captured the amazing phenomenon on camera. To find out more about what the meteor shower is, read here. You can catch it starting at 10 p.m., but this shower’s perfect for early risers, as the hour or two before dawn is probably the best time to spot the shooting stars!
