Male lion’s beautiful roar Posted by Anita Froneman on 17 April 2020 Animals are fascinating and seeing them in nature is absolute bliss. Hearing a male lion roar its unrivalled call in the bushveld is a unique experience not everyone gets to witness. Nkosi, a lucky tour guide from the Hide Safari Camp at Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe caught this beautiful lion on camera while giving a spine-chilling roar. ‘This is the sound that echoes over plains and valleys, beyond the rolling hills and on into the vast wilderness. The sound that defines an experience that is often hard to put into words,’ the camp posted on their Instagram. ‘This is the sound of the King of the Land. A beautiful throwback from one of our Game Drives… We will be waiting for you to return.’ Watch the magical moment: View this post on Instagram The King is calling.
