Dolphin and sloth hang out under lockdown Posted on 7 April 2020 Keepers at the Texas State Aquarium took their resident sloth on a tour around the facilities, introducing the animals to others. One dolphin took a particular liking to the sloth and the video is heartwarming. With most zoos and aquariums closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic, these facilities are getting creative and sharing inside peeks at life in lockdown. The sleepy, slow sloth dangled from a branch that the zoo keepers transported the animal on. From the water birds to the reptile exhibit, the sloth was given a luxurious private tour. When the sloth finally reached the dolphins, it was the cetacean that was the most excited. Chico the three-year-old sloth met the dolphin and couln’t be less enthused. The dolphin, on the other hand, was astounded. The sea mammal’s excitement is palpable as its jaw drops. The dolphin even mimicked the sloth by rolling upside down.
