Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp, located in Manyeleti Private Game Reserve which borders the world-renowned Kruger National Park, is the epitome of luxury, while still giving visitors the ‘real deal’.

Relax at the bar or visit the world-class, climate-controlled wine cellar, or recline by the swimming pool with sun loungers and a viewing deck overlooking a nearby water hole.

Meals are a communal affair served outdoors at a long table, with log fires and torches to create an authentic bush feel. Mouth-watering homemade dishes made from local produce are plentiful and exquisitely presented, while special arrangements can be made for private in-room dining on request for those lazy days.

Expect to be awakened by Honeyguide’s famous dawn drumbeat, and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee with rusks before the early-morning safari game drive.

Late afternoon and evening drives include sunset drinks, views over the Mohwareng Hills, and glimpses of nocturnal creatures. Larger game frequently sighted in the reserve includes elephant, rhino, lion and hippo. Another option is a walking safari through the deep bush, accompanied by an experienced, armed ranger.
