SA restaurant makes world’s most-beautiful list

The renowned, award-winning restaurant Wolfgat in Paternoster has made headlines once again by featuring on CNTraveller‘s list of the Most Beautiful Restaurants in the World. The restaurant offers a unique experience with its foraged beach vegetation menu dished up by chef Kobus van der Merwe. The restaurant can only accommodate 20 visitors at a time.

This gem of a restaurant is only located 2 hours outside of Cape Town in a little fishing village called Paternoster. . Sustainable seafood, local lamb and venison, and seasonal veldkos is featured, enhanced by wild herbs, seaweeds from the local rock pools, and pickings from the garden,’ reads their website.

This latest achievement comes after the tiny restaurant was named the Best Restaurant in the World in 2019.
