According to their website, there are two sleeping areas, a full bathroom with outdoor shower, a third floor that is covered, weatherproofed and a rooftop with a sleep-out platform under a retractable awning, for the ultimate in star-gazing. The top floor also has a lounge area where you can enjoy sunset drinks and a starlit picnic dinner, and the Treehouse’s kitchen will be stocked with a full bar and jars of snacks. For any other needs, the dedicated attendant ‘is just a phone call away’. Guests at either property can pack-up just what they might need for the night and head out. There’s an additional rate for the Treehouse experience, which can be reserved as part of a booked stay at one of the other nearby &Beyond properties. Rates for &Beyond Ngala Safari Lodge start at approximately R10,518 per person, per night. Ngala Treehouse is essentially an overnight wilderness experience and is booked in conjunction with a cottage/tent at either Ngala Safari Lodge or Ngala Tented Camp.The price includes a stocked bar, a starlit picnic dinner and a selection of midnight and breakfast snacks. The four-level treehouse features two sleep areas – level three is covered and weatherproofed, with a king-size bed, and level four is a sleep-out platform under a retractable awning. In the event of bad weather, all occupants will need to share the one king-size bed on level three. Cost: A stay at Ngala Treehouse costs R8,500 for the Treehouse for 2 adults and an additional R2,125 per child.
