SAA and Comair flights resume Posted on 23 October 2019 Tags:airport, Comair, delays, flight cancellations, mango, South African Airways On Tuesday 22 October a number of South African Airways (SAA) and Comair flights (operated by British Airways and Kulula) were grounded after the South African Civil Aviation Authority ordered that all aircraft be grounded to undergo compliance verification assessments. A number of Mango flights were also affected. Comair announced that its flights will resume as normal today. According to Eye Witness News, Comair has said that the disruptions to its networks have been addressed. #kululaNotice 23 October 2019, 9:00am ✈️ pic.twitter.com/icQ7BU1GdG — kulula (@kulula) October 23, 2019 In a news conference yesterday, Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula said that the South African Airways Technical team has drawn up a corrective plan to deal with the maintenance irregularities that resulted in delays and cancellations on Tuesday. Checking the board at this hour and it seems as though all flights are on track except on flight to #Kimberly that’s been cancelled.
