Dog-petting pop-up café to be found in London Posted on 16 May 2019 If you are in London and happen to be a dog-lover, take the time to pay a visit to Dog Café – a pop-up that allows dog owners to take their pups in to support people who are struggling with their mental health. Dog Café is the brainchild of Hadera Burki, who launched her first pop-up with her team from Enactus at the University College of London (UCL) last October. At this dog cafe you can get some puppy therapy 🐾 #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek pic.twitter.com/kf2G7aqdFi — Al Jazeera English (@AJEnglish) May 13, 2019 The café is a joint venture between Enactus and two mental health charities – Sane and Hello Love. The café will also serve vegan food exclusively, giving those who visit the opportunity to have a nourishing meal while cuddling with pups.
