Dream job alert: Test yachts for a living Posted on 13 May 2019 Hush Hush, a London-based online luxury store, is looking to hire someone to travel the world testing the facilities of luxury yachts. The successful candidate will earn £1,000 or R18,619 for each yacht review. The reason for this job listing is so Hush Hush can ensure that the yachts featured on the website are up to the company’s high-end standard. The job will require the successful applicant to be extremely flexible and ready to travel at a moment’s notice. The listing states, ‘We might be sending you all over the world to review yachts, so we’re asking for you to be over 21 years old, have a passport and be available on short notice throughout the year. With the potential to review up to 50 yachts a year, the successful applicant could earn £50k (R930,915) or higher. The job entails testing every single thing on the yacht: from beds to plug sockets, showers, taps, light switches, fridges, amenities and so on.
