We’re proud to see the travel guide specialists punt Zimbabwe and Egypt on its prospective travel itineraries. The company released a series of travel lists, including a top ten of the best countries, cities, regions and budget-friendly destinations for the year ahead. Zimbabwe grabbed the third spot in the category for best countries behind Germany (second place) and overall winner, Sri Lanka. Lonely Planet makes mention of Mugabe’s removal and remarks on the new sense of hope and optimism in the air regarding travel there.
