Rescued Knysna dwarf chameleon gives birth on rescuer’s hand Posted on 12 December 2018 Tags:Knysna dwarf chameleon Here’s a video of Knysna resident and dwarf chameleon breeder, Aldo Kleyn with one of the chameleon’s, which he rescued from last year’s fires, giving birth to 26 live offspring on his hand. The video was in October last year and has had over 200,000 views to date, but it’s one of those things that never get old. In September 2018, Aldo Kleyn released 30 Knysna dwarf chameleons into the wild (three which he had rescued from the fire and rehabilitated and 27 young chameleons, which were born at his chameleon sanctuary at his home).
